Your second one captures the tone of the movie and still follows your clean aesthetic. The textures are great. The flatness of the first poster works against the concept; you don't get quite the depth that you do in the second poster. I also prefer your type choice in the second. I'd just finesse your type hierarchy. Right now, I read the bottom line before I read "dusk 'til dawn film festival". Nice job.
2nd is the clear winner. I'd work with the hierarchy just a bit more. the diagonal slashes might work better as vertical slashes. Watch the weight, they seem a bit heavy.
See how your type works printed out at full-size. This really looks good, color will really make this compelling.
