Typographically, you've made some sound choices, but watch your hierarchy. The slogan could read like a quote, and be paired with the title and more separate from the body text. There is a ton of information at the bottom of your poster that could be linked and aligned more clearly.
I'm still a fan of the first one. I wonder if you can integrate the heart of the I<3NY logo into that composition (since I think it's the strongest visually and the tightest lock-up). In terms of hierarchy, my biggest concern is confusion over the tagline. If I didn't know it was the tagline, I would read it as either a continuation of the movie title or part of the Dusk til Dawn Film Festival title.
