There seems to be too much white space on the top half of the poster. I'd make the heart shape the same as the heart Glaser used in his original logo to fill some of that space. Maybe try putting the tagline above the logo instead of below it? I also don't think that the tagline should necessarily be treated the same way as the Dusk Til Dawn text.
I still feel the same as in class. The slogan would probably work better above the type lockup.
Watch your margins, it feels really full on the page overall.
I'd also try one last thing. Match the height of the heart so it works better with your type, as it feels too small, and have snake's head fill the entire background of the poster, with the type and heart over them.
I think this would be more impactful and an interesting option to test this against.
Also, you May not need to use red since the "I heart NY" lockup is so iconic as it is.
